The actual download version of ecologiCAD comes as a Windows installer. For other operating systems (Linux, Apple, Unix) please request a free copy at ecologiCAD@leibrecht.org. A JAVA Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.4 or higher is required to run ecologiCAD.
The installation contains the program itself, the ecological database, an user manual, sample projects, start batches for Pro/Engineer 2001 and Wildfire, and a material database for use with Pro/Engineer.
It can be downloaded and used free of charge. Please see the license for further information. I would appreciate any feedback to the software.
